Obama dies and finds himself before the Pearly Gates.
He is very excited; all his life he's had a secret wish & longed to meet the Prophet Mohammed.
Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, Barack meets a man with a beard. 'Are you Mohammed?' he asks....
'No, my son. I am Peter. Mohammed is higher up.' Peter then points to a ladder that rises into the clouds.
Delighted that Mohammed should be higher than Peter, Obama climbs the ladder in great strides, climbs through the clouds coming to a room where he meets another bearded man. He asks again, 'Are you Mohammed?'
'No, I am Moses. Mohammed is higher still.'
Exhausted, but with a heart full of joy he climbs the ladder; yet again, he discovers an even larger room where he meets another man with a beard.
Full of hope, he asks again, 'Are you Mohammed?'
'No, I am Jesus... You will find Mohammed higher up.'
Mohammed higher than Jesus! Man! Obama can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs, ever higher.
Once again, he reaches a larger room where he meets a man with a beard and repeats his question: 'Are you Mohammed?' he gasps as he is, by now, otally out of breath from all his climbing.
'No, my son.... I am Almighty God. But you look exhausted. Would you like a cup of coffee..?'
'Yes! Please, my Lord,' Obama exclaims.
God looks behind him, claps his hands and yells out: 'Hey Mohammed-- two coffees!'
Keep your trust in God;
Your government has failed you miserably.

So this is the type of crap I get to see regulary transmitted through inter-office email. I just expect more from educated people. This just shows me that they may be book smart, but in the real world they have no clue. My response:
ReplyDeleteOk. This is where I start to have the problem. Why is it that people, you included, always have to question this man’s legitimacy, religious beliefs and policies? Do you know the man personally?
This is not a joke and should not be seen as one for mainly one reason; it’s incendiary. It’s fuel for the nutjobs to take shots and plot against the very office that people in this country hold to esteem. You may not agree with what he’s doing but he was elected; get over it. Because believe me, a lot more people hated his predecessor conservatives and liberals alike and he suffered far less scrutiny than this man has.
Final question, is this some brainwashing that you’ve suffered over the years or what? You tell me when ANY of his policies affect you personally, then let’s talk.
p.s. I don’t care who you are or who you’re talking about, but the insinuation that Mohammed or any other person not of Christian faith has to get god (yes small “g”) coffee because they’re somehow less, is asinine and a reminder of how non-white people are viewed in the eyes of majority white America. Be careful what you say, much less forward.
